You step through a doorway on the eastern side of the courtyard and enter an expansive hall... wait, garden... no, hall.... Stone walls are just visible, there, through the foliage. Trestle tables laden with breads, cheeses, fruits, and smoked meats are interspersed among columns that branch into trees overhead. Far above... is there truly no roof or has some fey magic conjured that perfect sky? Throughout the garden room, the courtiers—both fey folk and human—mingle.

A hearty "Hail, friend," focuses your attention on the figure in leather armour and chainmail striding toward you. Definitely a human, this one, with his short goatee and round ears. A guard? Perhaps you wandered into the wrong place. But he extends his hand and clasps yours firmly in greeting. "Welcome," he says in a voice that is gruff, but friendly. "I am called Sadosed. Make yourself at home. The food is plentiful and good, and everyone here is friendly. Take your time and get to know them, but be forwarned.... We walk on both sides of the mist. We live two lives. The two parts make the whole, but it is up to you to decide which you wish to meet. We will only speak about what we are asked."
