Fourteenth FALO gather, at Raven's nest in the Poconos. Balou and Kyiale receive their Welcome stones, Ariel and Althea receive their Moonstones. Starshadow and Sparrowreed announce that they are long lost siblings.

1989, January 7

FALO's second Yule gather (fifteenth gather total), at the home of Cygnus, Maya and Tallpine. Morganna, Rhiannon, Amethyst and Snocat receive their Moonstones. After the gather, Starshadow goes on his leave of absence.

1989, February 4

Cygnus becomes an Elder of FALO at an Elders' meeting today, during Starshadow's leave of absence.

1989, February 25

Sixteenth FALO gather, at the home of Cygnus, Maya and Tallpine. Kallessia receives her Moonstone.

1989, April 8

Seventeenth FALO gather at the home of Cygnus, Maya and Tallpine. Starshadow returns from his leave of absence, wounded from the battle that won him his Kingship; Morganna heals him. Cygnus is asked to stay on as an Elder, and he accepts.

1989, May 6

FALO's second Mayfest, at Iona Island (Gather number eighteen). Rahne performs weather magic: in the middle of a week of torrential rains, we have a bright sunny day for the 'fest. Ariel leaves to form the Realmsmen. Raum subsequently leaves FALO to join the Realmsmen. Ian, Dar, and Y receive their Welcome stones. Rahne, Daegmier, Nightwing, Emberon, and Firefoot receive their Moonstones. Tallpine auctions off a pie in the face (to Ka, who gives it to Skull); Raum also auctions off a pie in the face (to a guest). Knights of Selohhar give live steel swordsmanship demonstration. First gather attended by members of Dragonclaw clan.
