Aranek of Endhome is a scout of good reputation who is in the ranks of the Aerie of Tir Thalor. Born the third son of a cooper he left his home at the age of 14 to study with the mage Ohlarhim. At the age of 18, upon completing his apprenticeship, he left the tower to find his own way in the world. Shortly thereafter he met up with the Aerie of Tir Thalor and chose to join their ranks as a battle mage. At the battle of Innesmore he was assigned to the army of Field Marshal Granarith Alandore. He distinguished himself during the course of the battle by thwarting an attack on the armys flank by a group of magically concealed enemy forces. He gained the trust of the field marshall and joined a small group that traveled to E'Atara.

Upon arriving at the new continent his group met the clan of FALO and soon discovered them to be a well rounded and honorable group. In time Aranek chose to return home to study further with his old master Ohlarhim in order to gain more powerful spells. During this training period he found his magical skills failing him and even spells that were completely familiar to him failed to work. It was surmised, and later confirmed, the result of an incident in his youth when he fell asleep in a fairy ring. He was forced to leave the tower to pursue another path in life. He took a leave of abscense from Tir Thalor so he could find his way once again. This path led him back to the woods and when he returned he did so as a scout. Once re-established Aranek was welcomed back into the ranks of tir Thalor and also as a member of FALO.

Today Aranek continues to work for both groups and has had some notable adventures including being in the number of people who journeyed to Demons Gate to retrieve Starshadow's stolen elfstone. He works best when alone or in a small group as his stealth and cunning work best in such situations. As well as these skills he is known to use bows, a hand axe, and throwing knives with good skill.
