Willow was born the only child to the Kaylie'Anarwa, Wise-Woman/Healer of her Elven village.  On the night of her birth, under the branches of the Sacred Willow Tree near her village, her mother held her up to receive the blessings of the Full Moon.  The Great Willow Tree reached it's branches down and caressed the child's face, leaving it's impression on her right cheek.  This is the sign of her affinity for healing with the use of herbs and the energy of the earth, which all of the women of her bloodline have.

One of the merry-begotten, conceived around the Mid-Summer fires, Willow was raised not knowing who her true father was.  She was reared with the other children of her village and schooled in the use of herbs and simples by her mother.  One fateful night when Willow was seven summers old, her mother woke her late and they left the village, never to return.  To this day, Willow knows not why they left.

They lived in the woods, traveling from village to village offering healing services and herbal remedies in exchange for food and shelter. That Winter, Willow's mother fell ill.  In their travels, they came upon a Szagany encampment, who took them in and cared for her and her mother until her mother passed into the Summerlands the following Spring.  The Patrin and Madre of the caravan adopted Willow as their own, unable to have children themselves, and she was further schooled in herbal medicine, simple glamour magic, seamstressing and the Szagany ways...

When Willow reached one hundred twenty one summers, young, rebellious and impetuous, she set out on her own to find people more like herself, hoping to discover the village of her birth.  When traveling through the Village of Three Rivers, she met up with the mage, Cygnus, and they became friends.  Soon after their meeting, Cygnus introduced Willow to the fellowship of the Clan of Falo, where she was forever enamoured of their magic.

When Willow became pregnant with her first child, she started having strange dreams and noticing biological changes within herself - the most apparent of which was her legs becoming scaly and iridescent when she went near large bodies of water.  She sought visions as to why this was happening and found out her true father was a Triton.  Shortly after these revelations, a Triton emissary came to Willow to bring her to meet her father, Quinnareas, learn of her Triton heritage and be schooled in their ways.  Having learned of her Triton blood, she is torn between her curiosity and yearning for the sea and the loyalty and love she feels for the Szagany for taking her in and raising her when her mother died.

Willow divides her time between traveling the Caravan Road with her Szagany tribe, and her clothing business at the home she has made with her husband, Ellam and their child, Duncan.  Upon the retirement of her adoptive parents, she is preparing to take over management of the Caravan with her cousin.  In her spare time, when she's not on Caravan or sewing, she practices and teaches the dances of the Szagany with her sisters, enjoys brewing mead and attending gatherings of the Clan of Falo.
